One enormous tree...

We came across this redwood wandering along the trail - you can't really see the sheer size of this but if you look here you can see me doin' da 'hiking reprazents' pose in front of this tree. At the base of the tree it was burnt out though the tree was still huge and healthy - it's roots spreading out from beneath. The interesting thing about Redwoods is that their roots are very shallow to gather moisture. We climbed the tree's embankment & went behind to see what wonders this giant held and there was another little cave burnt out.
