Hey you old tree!

Here is a 200 year old Laurel Bay tree found at Rancho San Antonio near where we live. It is a beautiful tree & it's leaves can be used for cooking - curries and the like. There is this little fence around it to protect it from people climbing it - still that didn't help it from a random kid & his father wanting a closer look-see! This tree is so special it has an information panel about it's history. There were some other huge trees in the preserve - great fat gum trees that just love the sunny, hot California weather!
