Food glorious food

After scouring the safeway to no avail, we finally have found some excellent places to get our food. As most of you would know being from Melbourne you have a fine apprection of fresh food & enjoy the markets & delis around the place esp. the Vic Market. Well there is nothing to match the Vic Market but we have found something close enough a store called Whole Foods http://wholefoods.com/ that has it all from fruit & veges to meat, cheese & bread and packaged goods in between. It is a bit pricey but hey it is worth it. We have been having issues with finding decent cheese here but in the end we found some from Murray Bridge, SA that is close to Tassie Tasty - so we are happy now. The bread from Whole Foods is yummy too... We found free range chicken called Rocky & Rosie and some organic beef too - this place has it all!

The other find are the various farmers markets that are around the cities here - we went to the Sunnyvale market on Sat (c pic) and had a fab time sampling all the fresh foods that were available. Every stall we went to there was food to try - cheesecake, indian food, fruit, tofu, pasta & more! We were thrilled to find fresh shitake mushrooms at a reasonable price too!! In the pic Ashwin was kicked out of his pram & he was replaced by the food we bought.

We found this great shop in the Sunnyvale strip - The Hidden Closet - where u can find designer clothes at a fraction of the price. They are all excellent quality & there is a very cool vintage section as well. I found this great skirt that is an anthropologie brand http://www.anthropologie.com for $40 - bargain! Amazon is just great too & some of the shipping is free - lovin' it! While I look after Ashwin at home I can go shopping & buy his birthday present - cannot believe he will be 12 months old on the 11th October.
