As Autumn leaves start to fall

I miss you most of all, my darling, when Autumn leaves start to fall - a classic Coldcut track...

Here we are enjoying a picnic down at a park nearby - Magnolia Park. Hence the pic of one of the first magnolias to bloom. The grass is so green & lush everywhere you go & it so soft to lie on. It is now Fall here in America but I cannot bring myself to say Fall when it really is Autumn. The colours of Autumn - red, orange, yellow, green & brown are just divine against a blue sky. Ashwin is loving the outdoors and most of all - the fibrous leaves that are very crunchy.

We wandered down to get some peace & quiet but unfortunately it was the day of the lawnmower man & his pal the leafblower were out & about. Ashwin was trying to get their attention with his antics. Strange how the footpaths are leaf free most of the time, whoever does the landscaping around here is 'raking it in' this time of year :)
