Winds in the Willows

Here is a pic of Ashwin in amongst an amazing grove of Willow trees. We were just wandering around in the beautiful Californian sunshine when we stumbled across this abandoned office block just near the light rail station. It was a huge building and there were chairs & tables for the ex office folk to enjoy on their breaks. What a great place just to hang around for a while.

Wandering across the tracks and then we saw a few magnolia giganti trees awaiting their blooms and beneath this concrete archway a beautiful grove of trees and lush green grass. Willows are a beautiful tree to soak in the shade as they seem to have this air of coolness from their branches. After Ashwins lunch we went for a little walk around the building to find a luscious rose garden, well what a waste of flowers, why not pick them for decoration :) a bit thorny without any scissors! It was a lovely find in amongst the residential mecca.
